Kyle Uptegrove

Kyle Uptegrove has been fishing the rivers on the North Oregon Coast for over 20 years. You can be sure that he knows all the best fishing spots and can help you have a memory-making adventure.

Explore the North Coast rivers in a 17’ Fishcraft drift boat or a 14’ Aire Raft.

Top-of-the-line gear and bait are provided, including Shimano reels and G. Loomis rods, with either live bait or artificial lures.

My family highly recommends Kyle. My wife, daughter (7), and I truly had an awesome fishing experience with Kyle. Really a knowledgeable guide. We had never salmon fished before and his attitude, demeanor and personality was a great fit. Plus the fishing was on fire. His coffee is really good too!

We chose the half day trip so we didn’t have to get up at the crack of dawn while on our vacation. It was a warm day, so we were hoping we had made the right choice. Apparently we did because both my husband and I were successful, as we each caught a Chinook salmon to take home with us. I also caught a “Jack” which we were also able to take home with us. Kyle was an excellent teacher, as neither us had ever fished for salmon before. He was also very knowledgeable, as well as, patient with us both. He knew the area so well, and even arrived early that day to do some scouting, to ensure that we would have a successful trip! I would highly recommend Kyle to anyone looking for something fun to do on the Oregon Coast!

Fishing Power Boat Rates

Minimum 2 people
Full Day (7 hours) - $275 / seat
Half Day (4 hours) - $225 / seat

Power Boat Group Exclusive Rental

A private boat, with up to 6 people
Full Day (7 hours) - $1650
Half Day (4 hours) - $1350

Fishing Drift Boat and Raft Rates

Minimum 2 people
Full Day (7 hours) - $300 / seat
Half Day (4 hours) - $250 / seat

Crabbing

$150 / seat
$500 minimum
(4-hour trip)

DEPOSITS

A $50 deposit is required per person per day to reserve your date(s). Remaining charter fees are to be paid with CASH or CHECK to Pacific Roots Adventures after your charter. Gratuities are customary.

Cancellations

A 7-day advance notice for all cancellations is required for a full refund. If you cancel within 7 days you will lose your deposit.
Cancellation due to extreme weather conditions will be determined only when the safety of the client is at risk. In these cases, deposits will be refunded or held to reserve a rescheduled date.
